Lime M&E has invested in Trimble Total Estimating software, with its estimating team completing specialist training to improve tender accuracy, efficiency and service delivery.
Lime M&E has introduced Trimble Total Estimating software to its estimating department, with the team recently completing specialist training to support the rollout.
The investment forms part of Lime's ongoing commitment to improving efficiency, accuracy and the quality of service delivered to clients, as the business continues to grow its mechanical and electrical contracting operations.
As Lime takes on increasingly complex projects across the UK, having the right systems in place is essential to managing the estimating and tendering process effectively.
Trimble Total Estimating is designed specifically for the building services industry, providing access to detailed pricing and labour databases, digital drawing take-offs and comprehensive estimating tools.
For Lime, the new platform will help streamline the preparation of mechanical and electrical tenders, improving consistency and reducing the time required to produce detailed estimates.
For clients, this means faster tender turnaround times, greater pricing transparency and clearer breakdowns of proposed works.
Alongside the software investment, Lime's estimating team has completed a dedicated training programme delivered by Trimble specialists.
The course covered key areas including digital take-offs, estimate management, assemblies and reporting, ensuring the team has the practical knowledge to make full use of the new system.
Adrian Parkinson, Pre-Construction Director at Lime, says:
"Bringing Trimble into the estimating department is a real game changer for us. It allows us to produce accurate, detailed estimates much more efficiently, and the training has given the team the confidence to hit the ground running. It’s a great example of how we’re investing in both technology and our people as the business grows."
The introduction of Trimble reflects Lime's wider approach to investing in the systems, technology and people needed to support its growing project portfolio.
With training now complete, the estimating team is already using the software across Lime's current tender pipeline.
It's a positive step forward for the department and an investment that will benefit both the business and its clients as Lime continues to develop its mechanical and electrical services.
Congratulations to everyone involved in completing the training.
