Two members of the Lime M&E team have successfully completed their apprenticeships and qualified as electricians. We're celebrating their achievements and the next chapter of their careers as they continue to grow with us.
At Lime M&E, we don't see apprenticeships as simply a route to qualification. They're an opportunity to develop skilled people who will grow with the business for years to come.
Two of our electricians, Robbie Walker and Andrew Morrice, have now successfully completed their apprenticeships and achieved their Final Integrated Competence Assessment (FICA). Better still, all three have chosen to continue their careers with us.
There's a lot of conversation in the construction industry about skills shortages and the need to bring more young people into the trades. But attracting new talent is only part of the challenge. Keeping good people and giving them opportunities to progress matters just as much. That's why apprenticeships remain an important part of how we build our team.
Working alongside experienced tradespeople, our apprentices gain the practical knowledge, technical skills and confidence that can't be taught in a classroom alone. And once they've qualified, the learning doesn't stop.
For us, seeing apprentices progress into permanent roles is one of the best measures of a successful training programme. It means we're not just developing electricians; we're building a team for the future.
Congratulations to Robbie and Andrew on their achievements. It's great to have you all continuing the journey with Lime.
